The world admires the knowledge and intellect of the Indian youth. But, numerous youths of the country are unable to utilise the skills and knowledge to their fullest potential due to social and economic barriers. In this pretext, Rashtrotthana Parishat has started ‘Tapas’(for boys) and ‘Sadhana’(for girls). Students who hail from underprivileged and marginalised sections of society are provided free education and coaching to successfully crack various competitive exams, thereby giving wings for students’ dream of accomplishing higher education goals.

The ‘Tapas’ and ‘Sadhana’ activities
On 26th January, the secondary level Tapas and Sadhana entrance examinations were conducted at 40 centres across the state. 734 and 944 students wrote ‘Tapas’ and ‘Sadhana’ exams respectively.
On 8th February, on the eve of Ratha Saptami, the students of ‘Tapas’ and ‘Sadhana’ offered Agnihotra to Lord Suryanarayana and performed 108 Surya Namaskara. Later, Sri Sridharamurthy explained the significance of Ratha Saptami to students.
From 10th to 14th February, the members of ‘Tapas’ and ‘Sadhana’ visited 575 houses across the state in order to select students for ‘Tapas’ and ‘Sadhana’ and render them free and quality education.

ಪ್ರತಿಭಾನ್ವಿತರಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕಲ್ಪವೃಕ್ಷ: ತಪಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನಾ
ಭಾರತೀಯ ಯುವಜನರ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಜಗತ್ತು ಕೌತುಕದಿಂದ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ದುರ್ಬಲತೆಯಿಂದಲೋ, ಸೂಕ್ತ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನವಿಲ್ಲದೆಯೋ, ಆಯ್ಕೆಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದಲೋ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿನ ಅನೇಕ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕವಾಗಿ ಬಡ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವಾದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ‘ತಪಸ್’ (ಬಾಲಕರಿಗಾಗಿ) ಹಾಗೂ ‘ಸಾಧನಾ’ (ಬಾಲಕಿಯರಿಗಾಗಿ) ಎಂಬ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಸಾಧನಾ 2019-21ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ 6 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರು – ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂ.ಬಿ.ಬಿ.ಎಸ್.ಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಾತಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ:
- ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗದ ಸಹನಾ ಟಿ – ಮೈಸೂರು ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು
- ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗದ ಶ್ವೇತಾ ಬಿ ಕೆ – ಹಾಸನ ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು

ತಪಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು
ಜನವರಿ 26ರಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ 40 ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಪಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನಾ ಪ್ರಕಲ್ಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ 2ನೇ ಹಂತದ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಪಸ್ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ 734 ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನಾ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ 944 ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.
ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 8ರಂದು ರಥಸಪ್ತಮಿ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಹೋತ್ರ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು 108 ಬಾರಿ ಸೂರ್ಯನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಧರಮೂರ್ತಿಯವರು ರಥಸಪ್ತಮಿ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಮಹತ್ತ್ವ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. 2022ರ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 10ರಿಂದ 14 ರ ವರೆಗೆ ತಪಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನಾ ಪ್ರಕಲ್ಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಒಟ್ಟು 575 ಮನೆಗಳ ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
