Saadhana is a residential coaching program that offers free PU education and NEET coaching to select meritorious girls from under-privileged backgrounds for 2 years in order to enable them to secure MBBS seats in government medical colleges, providing them with the incentive to achieve their dream of becoming doctors.

For the balanced growth of a diverse country like India, at the micro and macro levels, it is important to empower the girl child through quality education. Regardless of economic conditions, girls will become tomorrow’s leaders at the societal level and mothers at the family level. Higher education thus enables girl children to create rapid socio-economic transformations at the grassroots.

It is common practice for girls to drop out of higher education or get married at a very young age due to various reasons, thus cutting short their education. Education can strongly overcome such prevalent social issues like early marriage and economic insecurity among women in rural and urban India.

SAADHANA, established in 2017, identifies meritorious but economically challenged girls from rural and remote areas of Karnataka through a multi-level selection process and offers Free PU Education & NEET Medical Entrance Exam Training.

MULTI-LEVEL SELECTION PROCESS

SAADHANA is a once in a lifetime opportunity for meritorious girl students from economically backward section

50 girls are selected out of about 4000 applicants every year.

TOTAL CARE

The students selected are the best students in the State, under one umbrella.

The girls selected are admitted to Rashtrotthana PU College, Thanisandra. Their education, NEET medical exam coaching, food, hostel facilities, books, healthcare and uniforms are provided free of cost to the students for the duration of the two year program.

Following a strict regime, students are educated and prepared for the NEET with little room for digressions.
