Bengaluru, Feb 14: Dayananda Saraswati and Sarojini Naidu Jayanti was celebrated at JaiGopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidyalaya, Kalyana Nagar.
Dayananda Saraswati was a social reformer who strived for the revival of vedic culture. He fought for women’s rights and women education. Sarojini Naidu is an epitome of women liberty and rights who advocated women issues and encouraged women participation in the freedom movement in an era when the country was confined in the dark cage of British imperialism.
It is vital to enrich the students about the contributions and legacies of such reformers as they evolve as responsible citizens and it is the duty of the school to guide students to understand and adopt such legacies and principles.
With this intention, the JGRV organised Dayanada Saraswati and Sarojini Naidu Jayanti celebration and students were informed about the rich heritage of India which led to modern Indian renaissance.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 14: ಜೈಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಗರೋಡಿಯ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ, ಕಲ್ಯಾಣನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದಯಾನಂದ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸರೋಜಿನಿ ನಾಯ್ಡು ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಾಚಾರ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಗಾಯತ್ರಿ ಕುಲಕರ್ಣಿ ಮಾತಾಜಿರವರು ದೀಪಪ್ರಜ್ವಲನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಸಮಾಜ ಸುಧಾರಕರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದಯಾನಂದ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ವೈದ್ಧಿಕ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತದ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದರು. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಹಕ್ಕು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಸರೋಜಿನಿ ನಾಯ್ಡು ಸಹ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿಸಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾರತ ಬ್ರಿಟೀಷರ ಸಂಕೋಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ್ದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಸಂಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಇಂತಹ ಮಹಾನ್ ಚೇತನಗಳ ತ್ಯಾಗ, ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶ ಸೇವೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇಂದಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದು ಪ್ರತೀ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ. ದಯಾನಂದ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ, ಸರೋಜಿನಿ ನಾಯ್ಡುರಂತಹ ಮೇರು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ತ್ವಗಳ ಜೀವನ, ಆದರ್ಶಗಳನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಮುಂದೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾಗಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯುಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಉದ್ದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜೆ.ಜಿ.ಆರ್.ವಿ. ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದಯಾನಂದ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸರೋಜಿನಿ ನಾಯ್ಡುರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
