Varanasi! It is a sacred land and hallmark of Hindu civilization. It is the bedrock of Indian culture and tradition. Renowned writer Mark Twain has exclaimed that “Benarasi is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together”. Such is the civilizational ethos of Kashi. Kashi, in its roots, has the spirit of Bharat. Kashi is the cradle for age-old Indian culture and traditions. Unfortunately, its charm and ancient legacy deteriorated when Kashi was invaded by the west, Mughals etc. The revival of Kashi is the revival of the entire Bharat! It is the Renaissance of India and its Sanatana Dharma, in the 21st century. A milestone in this direction was witnessed by the entire subcontinent on Monday, 13th December, when Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modiji inaugurated the most awaited ‘Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor’ in Varanasi. With this initiative, Modiji has taken a great leap towards strengthening the roots of Indian civilization and has architecture a New Bharat with strong and ancient cultural underpinnings. Unity, integrity and endurance are the essence and soul of India. This unique feature of Bharat has made it possible for India to resist against all the discrimination and suppression from aliens and invaders who ruled the sacred land for centuries. ‘Kashi Corridor’ is one such evidence of India’s true spirit. Prime Minister Modiji has given huge momentum to this process of revival of ancient culture by inaugurating “Kashi Corridor”. It is an event of immense pride and the entire nation is grateful to the Government of India. 3C Principle enumerated by Modiji: Prime Minister Modiji addressed the citizens of Varanasi and spoke about the principle of 3C’s which incorporates Cleanliness, Creativity and Continuity. He also urged that these principles should become an integral part of our lifestyle. He also called upon the fellow citizens to unite in this process of revival of our civilization and claimed that only then Kashi can be completely unblemished. “Kashi corridor” is not just a bridge that connects River Ganga and the Kashi Vishwanatha Mandir. It is the first step in ancient revival. It is a bridge that integrates the entire nation and takes them forward in this process. “Kashi Corridor” is a pathway in reigniting the spirit of Indianness for the goodwill of Bharat and its mankind. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯತೆಯ ರಹದಾರಿ: ‘ಕಾಶಿ ಕಾರಿಡಾರ್’ ವಾರಾಣಸಿ! ಇದು ಹಿಂದೂ ನಾಗರಿಕತೆಯ ದಿವ್ಯಭೂಮಿ. ಭರತವರ್ಷದ ಬುನಾದಿ. ’ಕಾಶಿ ಇತಿಹಾಸಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹಳೆಯದು, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಪುರಾತನವಾದದ್ದು ಹಾಗೂ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸುಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ದಂತಕಥೆಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ ಉಗಮವಾದದ್ದು. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿದರೂ ಸಹ ಎಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಅಗ್ರಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಕಾಶಿ’ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಲೇಖಕ ಮಾರ್ಕ್ ಟ್ವೈನ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಕಾಶಿ ಭರತಖಂಡದ ಅಸ್ಮಿತೆ, ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವದ ಸಂಕೇತ. ಆದರೆ, ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ಶತಮಾನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಶ್ಚಾತ್ಯರ ದಬ್ಬಾಳಿಕೆ, ಅಟ್ಟಹಾಸವೆಂಬ ಕಪಿಮುಷ್ಠಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದ ಕಾಶಿಯ ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯ, ಹಿರಿಮೆ ಕ್ರಮೇಣವಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸುತಿತ್ತು. ಕಾಶಿಯ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನ ಇಡೀ ಭರತಭೂಮಿಯ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನ. ಇದು ಸನಾತನಧರ್ಮ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶ್ವದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ನಾಗರಿಕತೆಯ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನ. ಈ ದಿಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವಾರದಂದು ಮಾನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಯವರು ಮಹತ್ತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ‘ಕಾಶಿ ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ ಧಾಮ್ ಕಾರಿಡಾರ್’ಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಭಾರತೀಯತೆಯ ಬೇರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಸದೃಢಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಸನಾತನ ನಾಗರಿಕತೆಯ ಪುನಶ್ಚೇತನಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಏಕತೆ, ಭಾವೈಕ್ಯ ಭರತಭೂಮಿಯ ಸತ್ತ್ವ, ಜೀವಾಳ. ಪಾಶ್ಚಾತ್ಯರಿಂದ ಎಷ್ಟೇ ತುಳಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾದರೂ ಮತ್ತೆ ಹರಿಣದಂತೆ ಪುಟಿದೇಳುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ, ಅದಮ್ಯ ಚೇತನ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿದರ್ಶನ ‘ಕಾಶಿ ಕಾರಿಡಾರ್’. ಈ ರೀತಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಅಡಿಪಾಯ ಹಾಕಿರುವುದು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಡೀ ದೇಶವೇ ಕೃತಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೋದಿಜೀ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮೂರು ಸೂತ್ರಗಳು: ’ಕಾಶಿ ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ ಧಾಮ್ ಕಾರಿಡಾರ್’ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಳು ಮೂರು ಸೂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ದೇಶದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. “ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ, ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನೈರಂತರ್ಯ. ಈ ಮೂರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನಶೈಲಿಯ ಅವಿಭಾಜ್ಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾದ ವಾರಣಾಸಿಯು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದು ದೇಶದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಒಳಿತಿಗಾಗಿ, ಮನುಕುಲದ ಒಳಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿರುವ ರಹದಾರಿ “ಕಾಶಿ ಕಾರಿಡಾರ್”, ಗಂಗಾ ನದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಶಿ ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ ಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿರುವ ಸೇತುವೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಸನಾತನ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಮರುಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಮೊದಲ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡೀ ದೇಶ ಒಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತರಾಗಬೇಕು.
