Karnataka State Government has recognized Rashtrotthana Blood Center as the largest blood collection center in the State for the year 2020-21.
Rashtrotthana Blood Center has played an important role in people’s emergency health care by collecting 44,643 blood despite the pandemic.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ರಕ್ತಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ‘2020-21ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಅತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ರಕ್ತ ಸಂಗ್ರಹ ಮಾಡಿದ ರಕ್ತ ಕೇಂದ್ರ’ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದೆ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ರಕ್ತಕೇಂದ್ರ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ನಡುವೆಯೂ 2020-21 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ 44,643 ಯೂನಿಟ್ ರಕ್ತ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿರುವುದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಬಡ ಜನರಿಗೆ ರೀಯಾಯಿತಿ ದರದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಾ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ.
