Jnana Bharati Vidya Mandira was started in the year 1973 with classes 1 to 4 in a rented house. The first S.S.L.C. batch passed out in the years 1983-84 and children got admissions in various colleges.
In 1993, two plots were purchased on the Holalkere road and the construction of the school began. The school joined Rashtrotthana Parishat in 2004. In 2015, a three storied building was constructed equipped with labs and all other amenities required for a good teaching learning environment.

Activities in the project
In the morning, one session of yoga class is conducted. Everyday 20 people participate in this. With an objective of using this opportunity for the school purpose and also to improve the ability of the teachers , different training programmes like computer training, teaching skills, reading skills are given. Online teaching through various activities to children during this situation is also taken care of.
