Shivaji Maharaj and Golwalkar Jayanti at JGRV Kalyan Nagar

Bengaluru, Feb 19: Shivaji Maharaj and Golwalkar Jayanti was celebrated at JGRV Kalyan Nagar to foster the leadership qualities and unconventional commitment to the welfare of the motherland among students.
The students enacted a skit on the heroics and sacrifice of Shivaji, Jijabai, Tanaji Malusare and understood the role of Shivaji in pioneering a freedom struggle to establish Hindavi swaraj.
Students also gave a speech about the life and works of Chhatrapati Shivaji and how Mahatma Jyothirao Phule initiated the celebration of Shivaji Jayanti in the year 1876.
Golwalkar Jayanti
Madhavrao Sadhashivrao Golwalkar, who was popularly known as ‘Guruji’ was the second Sarsanghachalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. On his Jayanti, the students showcased Guruji’s milstone life incidents which are inspirational to numerous.
