Class 10 is a remarkable milestone in the life of a student. Rashtrottana Parishat, acknowledges the importance of class 10 as a stepping stone in career building and aims to provide quality coaching for the students of underprivileged section to score good percentage and to come out in flying colors.
The Inauguration of 10th Sure Pass Programmed was held on Dec 12th, Sunday. 180 students from various slums attended the program and 250 students have registered for the 10th Sure Pass Program. It is a program of 120 hrs. (3 hrs. on Saturdays and 7 hrs. on Sundays) of highly focused training for 10th std students from Government Schools.



1st Weekend 10th Sure Pass Class on 1st and 2nd January
The 10th std slum children studying in Govt, Govt Aided and BBMP schools who had been in 8th std in March 2020 were promoted without exams to 9th std and with bare minimum teaching-learning, no online classes and digital learning and reduced portions were again promoted to 10th std. Thus, they have reached 10th std in the current academic year with very little knowledge of even the fundamentals. Rashtrotthana Parishat started an intensive coaching program for them called the 10th Sure Pass Program.
The 1st weekend classes were conducted for 3 hours on Saturday 1st January at the slums
Rashtrotthana Seva Dhama, Sudhama Nagara – 25 students
Rashtrotthana Seva Dhama, Baiyappanahalli – 30 students
Rashtrotthana Seva Dhama, Doddanna Nagara E Block – 30 students
Rashtrotthana Seva Dhama, V V Giri Colony – 18 students
Rashtrotthana Seva Dhama, Netaji Nagara – 22 students
Rashtrotthana Seva Dhama, Janata Colony – 21 students
2nd class was conducted 7 hours on Sunday, 2nd January at the slums
Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Thanisandra – 94 students
Rashtrotthana Parishat, K G Nagar – 40 students
Rashtrotthana Seva Dhama, V V Giri Colony – 18 students
Rashtrotthana Seva Dhama, Netaji Nagara – 22 students
A Baseline test was conducted before the commencement of classes to evaluate the learning levels of the students. The subjects covered were Kannada, English and General Science.
The students are provided free transportation, food (breakfast, lunch and snacks) and also learning materials.
