Bengaluru, Apr 12: ‘Sankalpa’, a unique initiative of Rashtrotthana Vidyalaya, aims at holistic development of students and to build a strong foundation for their future endeavours. ‘Sankalpa’ was celebrated at Jai Gopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidyalaya, Kalyan Nagar on April 12, Tuesday.
Sri Praveen Kumar H.S., Product Manager, IBM was the Chief Guest of the event. He addressed the student community and said that students should always remember the moral values and contribute to the society. Every problem has a solution and children should never get disheartened when they face difficulties in life, he added.
Vice President of Rashtrotthana Parishat, Sri A.R. Dwaraknath ji appreciated the students for inculcating the values that were taught in the school and encouraged them to take part in pro-societal activities.
The students entertained the gathering with patriotic songs, folk dance etc. The event also witnessed felicitation of winners in Art and Craft, Rangoli, making of Ganesha idols etc. Under the guidance of Pradhanacharya, Smt. Gayatri Kulkarni Mathaji, students took pledge to serve the country throughout their life.
Secretary, Smt. Asha Mathaji explained about ‘Love of self’, ‘Love for our family’ and ‘Love for the country’. She guided the students about how to fulfil the three Runas viz., Pitru runa, Acharya runa and Deva runa.
Smt. Deepa Joshi Mathaji welcomed the gathering and Smt. Vijayarathna Mathaji delivered the vote of thanks.
