State Board School
Shri Beereshwaraswami Rural High School, Abburdoddi is a Kannada medium school. The school has 85 children, 8th Std – 21, 9th Std – 25 and 10th Std – 38. The school has the proud distinction of getting 100% results in 10th Std since the past 8 years.
The village Abburdoddi did not have a high school and hence the children could not pursue higher studies as the nearest high school was about 25 kms away. Hence this Kannada medium high school was started in 1995 by retired headmaster Sri Chandrashekar from 8thstd.
In 1999, freedom fighter and village chief Shri A Gopanna donated 2 acres of land. The school building along with library, laboratory and restrooms was completed in 2004 with the help of institutions like Rotary and Lions Clubs. The school merged with Rashtrotthana Parishat in 2005 under the guidance of philanthropist and school committee member Smt. Leelavati Dasappa and General Secretary of Rashtrotthana Parishat Shri. M. C. Jayadeva.
Rashtrotthana Parishat believes in providing education of the highest academic standards with excellent infrastructural facilities to the children in remote and rural areas so that they are able to become global citizens and compete with poise and confidence in the world. We request you to join hands with us in this endeavor so that many more girl children are benefited by our partnership and participate in nation building.
