Samvit Sangam – A Symposium on IKS Integration in School Education

Bengaluru, June 17: Samvit Sangam – A Symposium on IKS Integration in School Education was organised herein Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan by Samvit Research Foundation (SRF), an offshoot of Rashtrotthana.

ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆಯ ಚಿಂತನ – ಮಂಥನದ ವಿಚಾರ ಸಂಕಿರಣ – ಸಂವಿತ್ ಸಂಗಮ್, ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ

Shri Anurag Behar, CEO of Azim Premji Foundation gave a Keynote Address and Shri M P Kumar, President of Rashtrotthana Parishat presided over the Inaugural Ceremony.

During the ceremony Anveshan Learning Materials by SRF were unveiled and display of Teaching and Learning Materials was also kept. Teachers, Educationists and Resource Persons from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and few other states participated enthusiastically.

Later, the Symposium continued in 3 Tracks.

Track 1 – IKS in Curriculum:

• Moderator – Shri V Sriram, Joint Secretary, Vivekananda Educational Society
• Speaker 1 – Shri Prashant Divekar, Centre In-charge, Jnana Prabodhini
• Speaker 2 – Shri Vijetha Kelamane, Co-founder and Head, Learning Solutions, Scikraft

Track 2 – IKS in Ambience:

• Moderator – Dr. G Rajagopal, Professor (Retired), The EFL University, Hyderabad
• Speaker 1 – Smt. Shobha K, Principal, Hongirana School of Excellence
• Speaker 2 – Prof. Swati Karad Chate, Educationist and Visionary, MIT Group of Institutions

Track 3 – IKS in Practice:

• Moderator – Shri Gajanan Londhe, Executive Director, Samvit Research Foundation
• Speaker 1 – Shri Raghava Krishna, Founder, Brhat Educational Trust
• Speaker 2 – Shri Vikas Arya, CEO, DAV Group of Schools.
