Three Day Workshop for Principals of RVKs

Bengaluru, Dec 21-23: A three-day Workshop for the Principals of Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendras was conducted herein RVK – Banashankari. Dr. Soya Nambiar and Ms. Jyotsna Iyengar elaborated on the theme of the workshop, Leading Transformation for Principals.

The resource persons emphasized how to do experimental learning to lead for transformation, the qualities of good leaders, facing challenges as a leader, problems in the education field, and ideas to tackle them effectively.

The workshop also included a self-assessment to help the principals know themselves better, and a step-by-step process to execute the problems. More precisely, the session focused on the process and outcomes, which apprised the process as a mission and the outcome as a vision. The program was filled with more activities to do self-assessment followed by group discussions about oneself and to understand teammates.

The session also focused on safety measures to be followed in schools regarding child rights, the importance of co-curricular activities, and exemption for disabled candidates.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 21-23: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಿಗೆ 3 ದಿನಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಆರ್‌ವಿಕೆ-ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಡಾ. ಸೋಯಾ ನಂಬಿಯಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸ್ನಾ ಅಯ್ಯಂಗಾರ್ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.

ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಲು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಕಲಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾಡುವುದು, ಉತ್ತಮ ನಾಯಕರ ಗುಣಗಳು, ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುವುದು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸುವ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲು ಸ್ವಯಂ-ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಯಗತಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಹಂತ-ಹಂತದ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನಿಖರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ, ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರವು ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಮತ್ತು ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕೃತವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸ್ವಯಂ-ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು. ನಂತರ ಗುಂಪು ಚರ್ಚೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತಂಡದ ಸಹಪಾಠಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು, ಸಹಪಠ್ಯ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಗವಿಕಲ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿನಾಯಿತಿ ಬಗೆಗೂ ಗಮನಹರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
